Remember Pearl Harbor

On December 7, 1941, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, and brought the United States into the Second World War. The attack last about two hours, and managed to kill more than 2000 American soldiers and injure another 1000. Close to 200 airplanes were destroyed, along with twenty naval vessels, including Eight of our Battleships. FDR quickly asked Congress to declare war on Japan, and with an almost unanimous vote we joined World War II.

Today we remember Pearl Harbor and those who lost their lives there.
