I actually came across a version of this picture on twitter. People Magazine @peoplemag had posted a cropped version, but I always like to give credit where credit is due, so I turned to Tiny Eye. For those of you who do not know, you can find the original source of images with the help of a few different websites. Tiny Eye has given me the best results in the past, so I continue to use it. I learned that this mouth watering picture of Chocolate Covered Bacon is actual for a recipe on how to do it by Better Homes and Gardens About Thomas StrubingerHusband, Father, Foodie, Cardinal Fan. Ingredients 1 cup vanilla-flavored unsweetened almond milk 1 cup plain low-fat (2 percent) Greek yogurt 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (preferably grade B), plus 4 teaspoons for serving 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/4 cup chia seeds 1 pint strawberries, hulled and chopped 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted (not pictured) 1/8 teaspoon of Kosher Salt 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon Directions Wisk the almond milk, , yogurt, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, the vanilla, salt and cinnamon together in a medium size bowl. When blended, add the chia seeds, and let stand for 30 minutes. If the seeds settle, stir again, cover and refrigerate. After chilling for 8-10 hours, mix the nuts (optional) and remaining 4 teaspoons of maple syrup. For the effect I am presenting, spoon the mixture into mason jars, and top with berries. This makes a great take to work breakfast or snack that will make the whole office jealous. Makes 2 to 4 servings depending on the size of Jar you are using. Daym Drops give Little Caesars New Bacon Wrapped pizza – “Five all Day” So I had never heard of this guy before, and as I am scrolling through my news a friend of mine shared this video. Her title “I ❤ this guy. I suddenly want Little Ceaser’s pizza, and I don’t even care for bacon! He’s my new “review” guy.” I highly respect her opinion, so I had to see what he was all about. Daym Drops Daym Drops is a 30-40 year old black foodie… Using the term “foodie” very loosely, and possibly not in the same context as others might think it should be used. I use it because he likes to eat, and is a food reviewer. What makes him unique is the fact he makes his videos with a dash cam in the drivers seat of his car, and most of his reviews are of food from fast food chain restaurants. His video catalog includes hand held foods from Burger King, Chick-fil-A, KFC, Arby’s, Wendy’s, and Carl Jr. as well as a few places I hadn’t heard of, as well as a couple marked homemade… (still eaten in the car, LOL) He is a very charismatic gentleman, with good humor about him. I am sure you will find this video funny as well as appetizing… About Thomas StrubingerHusband, Father, Foodie, Cardinal Fan. I am just an average joe, trying to make my way in this world. I didn’t want to waste a chunky veggie tomato sauce I from dinner last night and didn’t want pasta, so I baked it with some eggs and feta topped with fresh basil. Isn’t it pretty? When I moved to Palm Beach Gardens I really had a hard time finding the good Jamaican food in North Palm Beach County. Coming from the Broward we were spoiled by great food from all Nationalities. There was a place that was short lived on Northlake, but Silver Spoon has been around a couple years now, and their Oxtail is fantastic! We have also tried the Curry Goat, the Brown Stew Chicken and the Jerk Pork, but I always go back for the oxtail. If you are in the area you should stop by and grab an order to go. 2 Large orders feeds my family of four, but my kids (3 & 5) can eat almost an order of the beef themselves.
